Licenses shortage results in Reporter collection job to finish with Warning status.

Challenge

The Reporter collection job finishes with the Warning status due to sockets number exceeded. To make sure this is the case, open the Reporter web page and navigate to Configuration > Sessions node and double-click the corresponding session, scroll to the bottom of the job log and find the [warning]: Sockets number exceeded line.

Cause

Behavior by design.

Solution

The data in the reports will only be available for the hosts included in data collection on Veeam One Monitor side (Monitor UI -> Options -> Server Settings -> Monitored Objects\Hosts\VMs (depending on Veeam One version)).
