Release Information for Veeam ONE 12 Cumulative Patches

Requirements

This Cumulative Patch can be used to:

  • update from a previous Veeam ONE 12 release to the latest Cumulative Patch.
  • upgrade an existing pre-12 Veeam ONE server to Veeam ONE 12 with the latest Cumulative Patch.
  • install a new deployment of Veeam ONE 12 with the latest Cumulative Patch included.

 

After installing the Cumulative Patch, the Veeam ONE build number will be 12.0.1.2591 (P20230314).

Below are details about each of the Cumulative Patches that have been released for Veeam ONE 12.

Each subsequent Cumulative Patch also includes all fixes present in the previous Cumulative Patches.

What's New
  • Microsoft .NET libraries have been upgraded to version 6.0.14.
  • Full support for Fujitsu CS800 and Infinidat InfiniGuard deduplication backup repositories has been introduced across Reports, Monitoring, and Alarms.
  • Error descriptions have been improved when checking Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 license type and version.
  • Prepared for vSphere 8.0 Update 1 compatibility: This Cumulative Patch addresses an issue present in previous releases, which prevented the addition of vSphere 8.0 Update 1 to the Veeam ONE Client.
Resolved Issues
  • Legacy Backup Copy Jobs for VMware Cloud Director virtual machines do not appear in the Protected VMs Report.
  • VMware vCenter cannot be added when vSAN performance data collection is disabled via REGKEY.
  • After upgrading to Veeam ONE v12, environments with Veeam Backup & Replication and Veeam Agents may experience continuous growth of the tempDB size.
  • After upgrading to Veeam ONE v12, Service Providers and tenants using VMware Cloud Director Organization Credentials authentication encountered an "Access denied. Please verify credentials and try again." message.
  • When adding a Veeam Backup for Microsoft 365 Server without RESTAPI enabled, a "404 Not Found" error is shown.
  • When utilizing Service Provider rental licenses, license consumption may be doubled.

Updating

To update an existing Veeam ONE 12.x deployment to the latest Cumulative Patch listed on this page, follow the same steps as upgrading Veeam ONE.

  1. Mount the ISO on the Veeam ONE server.
  2. Run Setup.exe from the ISO
  3. Click Update and follow the prompts to update the software.
