Challenge
Support has identified that there may be a problem with backing up of the SQL server and/or truncation of the SQL logs. To confirm what is configured in SQL and what is happening during the backup, support needs to obtain the SQL logs via SQL Management Studio.Cause
First open Microsoft SQL Management Studio, and login to the instance we are attempting to backup.Once logged in, expand the [Management] folder in the tree view to the left, then expand [SQL Server Logs]
Typically we are looking at the most current log which is highlighted in the example above. Double-click this log to open the next dialog box. Look for the [Export] button to generate your log.
Please save the resulting log in either .txt format or .csv format.
When the export is completed, please copy the new log file to either the FTP account supplied by Veeam Support for the case, or you can log into the Customer Portal and attach your logs directly to the case at Veeam.com.
