Release Information for Proxmox Virtual Environment Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication v12.1.1.1024

KB ID: 4686
Product: Veeam Backup & Replication | 12.2
Published: 2024-11-06
Last Modified: 2024-11-06

Requirements

This update to the Proxmox Virtual Environment Plug-In for Veeam Backup & Replication requires Veeam Backup & Replication 12.2.0.334. You can check the build number in the Veeam Backup & Replication Console's Main Menu (≡) under Help > About.

After installation of the updated Proxmox Virtual Environment Plug-In, the Plug-In build number will be 12.1.1.1024.

Known Issues

  • In some cases, such as failures of the incremental backups, a full source VM read may occur, but only the new data will be transported.
  • After applying the update, a full read will be conducted in each chain, with the size of the point being incremental.

Resolved Issues

  • Disconnected network interfaces on the Veeam Backup Server could cause connection issues.
  • Active I/O in HotAdd mode could result in the leakage of new data into snapshots.
  • An issue with the CBT tag validation, wherein the loss of the latest incremental restore point in a chain could lead to the creation of an incomplete incremental restore point.
