Veeam One Web Client / Reporter: Access Denied Error
Challenge
When attempting to access the Veeam ONE Web Client, formerly known as Veeam ONE Reporter, the following error is shown on the login page:

Cause
The Internet Information Services (IIS) Configuration is incorrect and prevents the Logon Prompt from loading.
Solution
This article documents the most common solution Veeam Support has found to resolve this issue:
Check IIS Anonymous Authentication Configuration
- Open Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager on the Veeam ONE server.
- Expand the nodes on the left side and select the site named VeeamReporter
<hostname> / Sites / VeeamReporter
- In the middle pane, double-click on Authentication under the IIS section.
- Right-click on the entry named Anonymous Authentication, and click Edit...
- Select the option for Application pool identity, and click OK.
- After the Anonymous Authentication Credentials have been set to Application pool identity, reopen the Veeam ONE Web Client.
If the Anonymous Authentication Credentials were already set to Application pool identity or changing them to Application pool identity does not resolve the issue, please create a Veeam support case for further assistance.
