Requirements
Please confirm you are running Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 build 5.0.3.1033 or higher before installing Cumulative Patch KB4270. You can check this under Help and Support > About in Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 console. After installing Cumulative Patch KB4270, your build version will change to 5.0.3.1060.
Resolved Issues
As a result of ongoing R&D effort and in response to customer feedback, Cumulative patch KB4270 provides a set of bug fixes, the most significant of which are listed below:
General
- Monthly Usage Report includes incorrect data if a backup proxy is stopped while the report is generated.
- Under certain conditions, applying retention on Azure object storage repository fails with "Unspecified error".
Backup
- Starting January 1st, 2022, under certain conditions, an incremental backup of Microsoft Teams objects may fail with the "Failed to resolve team (ID: , name: ): Organization (ID: ) which the team (ID: ) belongs to not found" error. For more information, see KB4268.
This Cumulative Patch also includes all fixes that were present in Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 5d Cumulative Patch KB4235 and Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 5d Cumulative Patch KB4222.

To install the Cumulative patch KB4270:
- Download VeeamBackupOffice365_5.0.3.1060_KB4270.zip
- Execute VeeamBackupOffice365_5.0.3.1060_KB4270.msp as administrator on the Veeam Backup for Microsoft Office 365 server.
- Execute VeeamExplorerForExchange_5.0.3.1060_KB4270.msp as administrator on each machine where Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Exchange is installed.
- Execute VeeamExplorerForSharePoint_5.0.3.1060_KB4270.msp as administrator on each machine where Veeam Explorer for Microsoft SharePoint is installed.
- Execute VeeamExplorerForTeams_5.0.3.1060_KB4270.msp as administrator on each machine where Veeam Explorer for Microsoft Teams is installed.
