The parameter can be changed via SessionManager.SessionHistoryRetentionDays in /opt/VeeamBackupAgent/appsettings.json on the proxy appliance.
- Newly deployed AHV Proxy Appliances will retain session information for 13 weeks (new default).
- Existing AHV Proxy Appliances will continue to retain 53 weeks (old default) after the upgrade.
- Newly deployed AHV Proxy Appliances will retain session information for 13 weeks (new default).
- EULA: The license agreement (EULA) has been updated on the AHV Proxy and the Nutanix AHV plugin.
Resolved Issues
- Corrected job status reporting so that Veeam One job reports correctly display policy sessions as having a "Completed" state with a valid EndTime if the policy is not "Running".
- PD-snapshot policy fails with the error “Value cannot be null. Parameter name: key”.
- Backup policy fails with the error “Failed to start a backup process: Policy session with tag {tag} is already finished”.
- CBT tag missing if the AHV backup policy fails during the backup process.
- AHV Proxy will now correctly clean up connected SCSI devices.
- Long query times to the AHV proxy database, resulting in reduced performance.
- Corruption of appsettings.json file after restarting the Proxy service.
- VeeamZIP job fails with error “Cannot find repository {uuid}”
- Scheduler ignoring an active full backup request and creating an incremental backup instead.
Security Improvements
- Authentication mechanisms were improved.
- REST API security was improved.
- SMTP certificate validation improved.
- Third-party libraries were upgraded.
Known Issues
- If a VPC/overlay subnet is present on the cluster and used by a VM, the network information will be skipped when the VM is backed up. Such VM will be restored without a connected network adapter.
