Challenge
Monthly License Usage Report cannot be collected from Veeam Backup & Replication servers running version 11a.
Cause
The Veeam Backup & Replication version 11a license usage data is incompatible with Veeam Service Provider Console (VSPC) v5.
Solution
To resolve this upgrade to VSPC v6 when possible.
Alternatively, the compatibility fix on this article may be installed for VSPC v5 to allow it to collect license usage data from Veeam Backup & Replication 11a.
VSPC v5 Compatibility Fix Installation Instructions:
Ensure VSPC v5 patch 3 (build 5.0.0.6959) is already installed before proceeding.
- Download the compatibility fix to the VSPC server
- Stop the following services on the VSPC server:
- Veeam Agent Routing Service
- Veeam Management Portal Service
- Replace the files in the folders below with the files found inside the fix:
- C:\Program Files\Veeam\Availability Console\ApplicationServer
- C:\Program Files\Veeam\Availability Console\ApplicationServer\AgentSource
- Start the following services on the VSPC server:
- Veeam Agent Routing Service
- Veeam Management Portal Service
