Challenge
We receive the error Failed to connect to Veeam Backup & Replication server: No authority could be contacted for authentication. This can manifest as a failure to connect to the Veeam Backup & Replication console, on restore, or on a VM running in a surebackup virtual lab.
Cause
The server has lost trust with the Active Directory domain.
Solution
Remove the Veeam Backup & Replication server, or effected restore, or surebackup VM from the domain, reboot, and re-add Veeam Backup & Replication server to the domain.
