Veeam Availability Console – Compile and Upload Server Logs

Challenge

This article covers how to properly compile your Veeam Availability Console Server logs, as well as uploading logs when submitting a technical support case.

Solution

To export Veeam Availability Console Server logs, please refer to the animation and instructions below:

  1. Log into the Veeam Availability Console UI and navigate to Configuration > Support Information.  
  2. Click Download Logs and select the time period for which you would like logs collected, then click OK.  
  3. Once downloaded, upload the exported archive to your case via the customer portal or via the FTP listed on your case. In the case of uploading via FTP, please notify the engineer assigned to your case once the upload is complete.

More Information

Alternatively, you may manually collect the server log files from the following location on the Veeam Availability Console server:
 
C:\ProgramData\Veeam\Veeam Availability Console\Log
 
In the case of a distributed deployment, logs must be collected form this directory on both the application server and the web UI server.
