Challenge
Understanding the difference between Typical and Advanced scalability modes.Cause
Depending on the size of the managed virtual environment, you can choose of the following Veeam ONE installation types:- Typical — this type of installation is recommended for small to medium environments, with up to 100 hosts and 1500 VMs
- Advanced Scalability — this type of installation is recommended for large environments with more than 100 hosts and 1500 VMs
Solution
To switch between the modes, on Veeam One server run "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Veeam\Veeam ONE Settings\VeeamOneSettings.exe" > Deployment Configuration > Save > Restart Veeam One Monitor and Veeam One Reporter services.NOTE that the previously collected data will not be revisited.
